Fender '66 Reissue MIJ T-Serial (2007-10) JM66 Jazzmaster in Rare Piano Black w/ Competition StripesAwesome Fender Jazzmaster in super rare factory finished Piano Black with Vintage White competition stripes. This is a super rare factory finish for Fender Japan and when you consider they were never made for export outside of Japan it gives you an indication of how many there are (or aren’t) around. Outside of the rarity value this one is an absolute beast. A perfect playing Jazzmaster, I couldn’t put this thing down. She is a 1966 Reissue with top quality lightweight alder body, rosewood fretboard, maple neck with nice vintage 7.25" radius and 3-ply mint green pickguard. The glossy Piano Black/Vintage White finish is nicely rounded out with vintage off white cream pick-up covers. Aside from the rare finish the maple neck and headstock look amazing on this one, tinted very dark with some really nice grain patterns showing all over the neck and headstock. Really resonant too and feels great to play. She is all still factory spec with no mods or repairs. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. She is coming on for 10 years old now so has been played, so not shop floor condition. However there is nothing harsh on her, no paint chips or anything like that. Mainly just belt scratches on the back and some scuffing around the edges. She is of course complete with trem arm & gig bag. All in all very cool '66 RI Fender Jazzmaster in a much sought-after colour. The cost of importing something like this from Japan now with the £ so low, shipping and the UK’s massive import taxes would be sky high. Like all my Japanese Fenders this is an individual guitar hand selected by me from Japan, it’s not a sterile new production run guitar bought in bulk from Korea or wherever. No more of these are being built in Japan as Fender have moved production to Mexico to use cheaper labour an cut costs. Don’t miss it, once she's gone she's gone. All my guitars are shipped inside their cases in padded purpose designed tough durable boxes. The guitar will reach you in perfect condition. Message for overseas shipping rates if outside UK/EU.
