80’S TAMA SWINGSTAR DRUM SHELL PACK, ASPEN WHITE, T BADGE, MIJ, 22, 10, 12, 13, 14, 14, 16” A classic for then and now, this is a mid/late 1980’s Tama Swingstar Shell Pack that was made in Japan and comes with 2 floor toms, 3 mountable toms and the snare (steel/chrome). These are Philippine mahogany (aka Luan) 9-ply shells with additional Inner shell Zola coating. Aspen white finish with Black T badges. The sizes of all the drums in this listing are (head diameter is the first number): 22x14” 10x8” 12x8” 13x8” 14x5” 14x12” 16x16” At the time this was an introductory kit and were far superior to most starter sets of the day. Fully glued wrap, luan sealed shells and tons of attitude. Whether reliving your youth or wanting a vintage kit, this is a good choice for sound and condition. This 80’s Tama Swingstar Drum Shell Pack is a used item in VG+ condition. No major scratches, dings or marks. There is some pitting and light rusting showing from age and storage on the chrome parts, but a little work will take care of that. The heads are decent and still have life in them. The finish is clean and there are no visible chips or peels. Along with the 7 drums, you will receive the mounting assembly for two of the toms on the bass drum (the third tom and the 14” tom needs a clamp, rod and stand not included), the floor tom legs for the 16”, the bass drum pedal and the snare stand. No other hardware or cymbals are included in this listing. You will receive this item well-packed but without the original packaging. Please contact this seller for additional information.
