There is a little darkening of the maple neck on the sides in a few places but adds to making it look more like Andy Timmon's battle worn main guitar. It's very acoustically resonant with great sustain even before you plug it in, plugged in its a very versatile instrument.The guitar has just had a pro setup (with balanced 10 gauge D'addario strings) and a light fret dress prior to iron out some factory inconsistencies prior to this sale to ensure it reaches you in the best playing condition possible. The frets are essentially as new only better dressed. Selling as I am predominantly a Blackmore/Malmsteen fanatic and used to scalloped Strat's.
