Up for offer is my 1964 Fender Mustang serial # L60224, OCT. 64 A neck, with the original case and tremolo bar. Has the Fender Dynamic Tremolo. Two pickups each with its own switch. Forward, on, middle, off, backward, out of phase. So you have 8 separate sound quality control with the switches. There's a Vol. and Tone control. These guitars have a range from sweet to raunchy. The pickups, tone/vol. pots and switches all are perfect and function well. The tone knob has a slight chip at the bottom. The finish on the guitar has developed a yellowish patina over the years and a slight crackle effect in the lacquer, can be seen in the photos. Neck is straight with truss rod showing lots of room for any adjustments. There are several dings and scratches on both the front and back of the body, some through the finish.(see photos) . Original case fine inside, several minor tears in the fabric outside, all hinges and latches function well. This guitar is a piece of American musical history first introduced in 1964 when Leo Fender still had control of the company. Bid with confidence.
