This lefty Larrivee Bakersfield, finished in daphne blue, has its roots in a boutique take on the Telecaster the folks at Larrivee produced in limited quantities for Seymour Duncan. An iconic design with some subtle twists … the contoured body makes it comfortable to play, the neck is nice and fat, based on a 52 blackguard. Single piece quartersawn rock maple neck and a swamp ash body with a rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl fretboard markers. Kluson tuners, Callaham hardware including the T bridge with 3-barrel compensated saddles, Duncan 250k pots, vintage paper-in-oil capacitors. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop neck pickup created specially for the Bakersfield, and a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop hand wound “Real Broadcaster” bridge pickup deliver great tone in all three positions, with all the twang you need at the bridge. Very light guitar, under 7 pounds. Sings in your hands. Lifetime warranty and Larrivee hardshell case.
