Sigma DR7 (D28 style), Made in Japan - remarkable condition for its age. A couple of very small dings on the top that have not penetrated the varnish, otherwise pretty much as new condition. Very, very little use, almost no wear.Sounds superb, much like a vintage Martin USA D28. The top is definitely solid Sitka spruce. The rosewood back and sides could either be solid or laminate - it is difficult to say, as at the time both constructions were used and these were not differentiated by the model number. It's quite a light weight guitar, which may lead one to conclude the back and/or sides are solid, but it I can not guarantee this.Action almost the same as a new Martin D28 is set up - it could be lowered, at the expense of a slight deterioration in sound (in my opinion). The strings are in good condition but not new.I have never needed to adjust the truss-rod so I assume it is working, but I'm not going to try it! I've had this guitar from new - bought in around 1980 - and I've just decided to spend part of my pension lump-sum on a Martin HD35. Therefore I'm selling the Sigma. You can view and play it in Hinckley, Leics. I do not have a case for it, but it will be packed in a double guitar shipping carton.
