Yamaha SG-800S Metallic Blue Guitar. This is one of the famous Yamaha SG range and was made in 1981 according to my searches on the Yamaha dating sites. It has the push/push tone pots that split the humbuckers and a long neck tenon. It was Made in Japan and weighs 4.35 kilos. A quality guitar that is in excellent used condition (see pics) - the front is very clean and the back has a few minor scratches and ding where the previous owner dropped it on a mic stand. The back of the neck is clean as is the headstock. The original hardware is nice and shiny and is in excellent order and working well. The electrics are fine with the original pickups and coil taps. The rosewood fretboard is good with frets showing some minor wear. Overall a great example in a classic colour -The original hard case is included Pick up strongly preferred from North Shore Sydney but will work out postage at cost to winner. Once it’s on the truck, damage risk and insurance is up to you.
