This is a gorgeous Fender, Geddy Lee, Jazz Bass.  Serial number research puts the year of manufacture at 2007-2008ish. Very hard to pinpoint the exact year.  On the lower neck it says "Crafted In Japan", my research tells me that there were basically three true Geddy Lee's manufactured. One says Made in America, the other Made in Japan and then Crafted in Japan.  My understanding is that there is a pretty big difference in sound from the Made in Japan and Crafted in Japan. My ears tell me that this is a deep and rich sounding instrument that is second to none. One person described it as one of the "Good old ones, Crafted in Japan".  This guitar is in fantastic condition. One owner, non-smoker and this guitar has never seen the inside of a bar. I have photographed the only two "scratches" I could find and highlighted them with a red arrow. One is on the metal neck plate, about a 1/4 of an inch in length. The other is barely visible on the back about an 1/8 of inch in length and you really better be looking for it to find it.  There are a some very light surface marks on the face from being played. Try as I might I could not get them to show up in a photo. They are light surface "feathering" on the  lacquer and can be buffed or polished-out, if one is so inclined. Like I said, very, very, hard to see.  I had to hold it up to the light and turn it, roll it and tilt it and I finally saw them.   This guitar comes with a Fender Gig case. No stains, no weird smells,  no tears, no problems. All zippers work perfecly.
