Thank you for viewing my listing. You are a viewing a USED Fender Telecaster Contemporary, Made in Japan for Fender by the Fujigen Gakki company in the 1980s. Please see the 'Item Condition' section above for the particulars of the condition of this guitar, which was completely re-wired last year to improve performance in the studio environment. This guitar has primarily used in a smoke-free home studio for the 7 years I have owned it, on a variety of projects. This guitar excels at the powerful and defined rock rhythm & lead tones it was designed to, but is also excellent for country twang and quacky funk tones, especially when you begin to explore the tonal possibilities afforded by the mini toggle switches, also replaced by a professional guitar technician last year. This guitar series was famously used by Frank Black of the Pixies during their original run, which is what inspired my original purchase. This guitar proved to be useful for so much more than his famously biting sound, with its easily playability and flexible switching.
