Up for auction is the absolutely beautiful Deering John Hartford 5 string banjo w Grenadillo tone ring and original Deering Case. Appropriately marked "deering" by the maker on the case, headstock, head, tailpiece, tuning pegs and bridge. Marked Hartford on the 21st fret. Based on the serial number I believe this banjo is from 2013. I looked this over top to bottom and I am going to be really picky. This banjo is 98% as new and in A+ condition. Whoever had it before, either played it rarely or kept it in the case. There is the tiniest bit of cosmetic wear to the metal edge and 3 tiny little marks to the wood on the insider near the resonator. (3rd to last picture). I mean I am being stupidly picky here. Case is basically in as new condition.Free shipping with USPS ground.
