These guitars were made in Japan by the famous Matsumoku.  JC Penney's purchased the line and offered them in their catalog for only 1-year, 1981.  Afterwards, the line was dropped, never to be built again. This is hard to do.  I have been the only owner of this guitar. I got it as a Christmas gift in 1981...35 years ago.  It is an awesome guitar.  The volume boost, the phase switch, coil taps, there is so many tones you can get out of it.  Amazing.  The detail in the wood work is equally amazing.  It will make a great addition to any collection.  I have to let it go, unwillingly.  Things in my life forces me to part with it.  The guitar is in what I would consider very good to excellent condition.  The only ding I see is on the top of the body (see the picture).  I am not hiding anything.  It actually looks worse than it is in my opinion.  I will include the hard shell case the guitar came in.  I am not sure if it was purchased separately.  You'd have to ask Santa for the details on that. Please take a look at the pictures and if you want additional ones, let me know.
9-volt battery not included...seriously.  It takes a 9-volt for the volume boost.
