This is the coolest, most beautiful bass I've ever owned. It's been played and loved a bunch. The neck is by far my favorite neck on a bass I've ever encountered. It's slim tapered, like a short scale Jazz Bass. It's been played enough that the nitro is starting to wear smooth in spots and it's extremely comfortable! The bridge has been upgraded to a really amazing Hipshot replacement but the original with nylon saddles and chrome cover is included. The mute assembly was gone before I had it. The humbucker is the original but the push button has been replaced with a switch that offers three sounds. Big, beefy, warm, and if you wanted the push button, you could switch it back.If mudbuckers aren't your cup of tea, Curtis Novak winds some amazing and more balanced pickups as a direct replacement. Before I decided to sell this one, I spoke with him and he could even hide a Hofner style staple pickup under that chrome cover if you wanted something more "Beatley."I'll be sad to see it go, but I have other basses and I'm a guitar player in my current project. It's currently strung up with my favorite flatwounds (La Bella) but comes with a set of Diadario Chromes that are cut to fit the original bridge as well. The neck has never been repaired and as far as I can tell, it's never been severely dropped. The nut has been scalloped, but I don't think that has hurt or helped it any. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for looking!
