Fender Custom Shop 1964 Heavy Relic TelecasterThis is a 2014 limited run Telecaster built by the Fender Custom Shop to celebrate 50 years since the release of the original 1964 "L Series" Telecasters. The L is the serial number prefix that they started using back in 1964.This guitar is finished in a faded and reliced three tone sunburst. Please note that the red is much more subtle in real life! It plays extremely well and weighs 7lb 7oz (3.37kg). The guitar pickups are handwound Fender Custom Shop "Josefina '64's", the neck has a mid sixties C neck profile and it comes with the original case and case extras (Cable, picks, manual, certificate etc). I swapped the pickguard to a high quality mock tortoiseshell guard as I prefer the looks, but the original Fender pickguard will also be included. This guitar is in mint condition - for a relic! The case is also mint, even with the protective wrapper on the handle still in place.The guitar can be viewed and collected from Wokingham, near Reading UK. Can also ship anywhere within the European Union.
