FramusThis stunning looking Framus was made in Germany and would date from the later sixties or evenearly seventies; its shape is similar to a Jaguar and its made from solid wood with a beautiful grain.It has a white three-ply scratchplate containing the two pickups and the three-way pickupselector switch. The single volume and two tone controls are mounted on a metal plate adjoiningthe scratchplate - much like that of a jazz bass. The bridge is a very good tune-o-matic style bridgerand the tailpiece is a bigsby model.The lovely colour of the wood is enhanced by the gold hardware, which shows very little wear, The maple neckis bolted on and the neckplate is stamped ''made in West Germany''. The fingerboard is also maple and containstwenty-one frets; and the headstock has the ''Framus'' name, metal truss rod cover and the six on a side tuners.This guitar is in a very good condition and playing well - it is also completely original apart from thetone and volume knobs.
