1965 L series Fender Jazz Bass. All original and complete with the exception of some solder on the pots and the missing metal pickup cover. Original Sunburst finish in very good condition. Great player with a superb even sound right across the fretboard a straight neck and good original frets in great condition. It has all original hardware and a Tortoise shell guar. It comes supplied in the original case. Serial number:L85568.There's light play wear to the finish front and back with a few scuffs & dings around the edges of the body and some light buckle rash on the back. The neck is stamped MAY 65A. The pots all date to 65 (two to the 12th week and one to the 20th) ,the pickup have original winds but because the sponge is stuck to the bottom no dates can be read. Fully set up by my technician with a fresh set of Fender Nickel round-wound strings. Neck width at nut: 1.492" . At the 12th: 2.186" . Depth at nut 0.842". At the 12th: 0.982". Weight:9 lbs 6oz.
