For years I have drooled over the white stratocaster inspired guitar that Alex Lifeson played on the song "Limelight" in the Rush Exit Stage Left Video. A few years ago, I contacted a company and had them build this fantastic instrument. It came out better than I hoped. The tone is extraordinary as I had the body made out of mahogany - nice and thick with oodles of sustain. It has Bill Lawrence pick ups in the tail, a locking Floyd Rose Tremelo system, and a 5-way pickup selector switch. The fretboard is rosewood. I did not know about the Hentor Sportscaster made by FreddysFrets until later but even if I had, I could not have afforded one of those at that time. This is as close as I could come to building myself a replica of an electric guitar I truly love. Comes with a hardshell case and I am going to pay the shipping! There is a custom-built instrument and it came from the factory to me and has never ever left my clean, smoke-free home studio. I have take immaculate care of this gem and unfortunately I must say goodbye to her. She spends too much time in the case. This guitar still has the factory-fresh smell because it was seldom used. Look at the photos and see yourself making stunning music with this precision, one-of-a-kind masterpiece of an instrument.
