1927-28 C G CONN 80A "OPERA" Cornet. Serial number 241890. Age has been verified using the Conn serial # website. Instrument was professionally restored by Hauer Music in Dayton, Ohio. Mouthpiece lead pipe was replaced but everything else is original. I have played brass instruments for over 50 years but the lip is "GONE" at 72 years old. I spent 24 years in the music business and it was always rumored that Rafael Mendez used a CONN 80A in the recording studio. Never met the man but that was the rumor. I always wanted a vintage 80A and when I found one and had the restoration done my lip was gone. Hope someone else can appreciate and enjoy it.*Horn will be fully insured for value when shipped.
