Here is my beautiful 1974 Fender Stratocaster. This is the hard tail model, with no tremolo. It's in lovely condition as you can see, and plays fantastically. I've weighed the guitar today and it's 4.1kg. Not lightweight but not unwieldy either.The pickups are strong, the guitar feels great and plays amazingly well. This is the desirable model with staggered pole pickups which are agreed upon to have the best sound. Pickups are all dated 1974 - I've included one picture, but can show you them all if you wish.The guitar has had the usual 5 way switch mod at the same time the pots were changed. The tuners have been changed to new reissue tuners to ensure the guitar plays well. Finally, one of the pickup covers has been replaced, this was because it cracked. It's a good, honest strat that plays amazing well and sounds great. The couple of changes make the guitar more usable. This guitar plays beautifully I have to say, low action and the maple neck is fantastic. The sustain is great, in part because of the hardtail bridge. Blues and rock lines sound fantastic. There is wear on the side of the next which you can see, but this is all honest. Finish is 100% original and the guitar is all honest (pictures included here, but ask for more if you would like to see them!).The guitar come with a modern Fender moulded case. Feel free to come and take a look if you're in Bristol. I can post this, but would prefer collection. If this Stratocaster isn't your thing, I do have a 74 Telecaster Custom for sale too...
