Rare chance to own a piece of recording history. Formerly owned and played by London session musician Stuart Brooks this Flugelhorn has played on hundreds of recording sessions for film, tv and pop records through the 70's and 80's. Notably it can be heard as the solo instrument for the theme tune of British television series 'Dalziel and Pascoe' and also as incidental music for the tv series 'Bergerac'. It has been played with bands such as Level-42, James Last, George Michael, Cliff Richard, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and more...Since owning it I have had it overhauled, all the laquer stripped, two water keys fitted and a trigger fitted to the third valve slide.PLEASE NOTE! SINCE THIS LISTING FIRST OPENED THE GR LEADPIPE IS NOW NO LONGER INCLUDED. PLEASE IGNORE THE GR LEADPIPE IN ANY PICTURES. THE ONLY LEADPIPE TO SHIP WITH THIS HORN IS THE ORIGINAL COUESNON LEADPIPE AS PICTURED IN THE NEW PICTURES JUST ADDED...Please also note there is no mouthpiece or case included.I currently use this as a spare and it can be heard at the London production of 'Dreamgirls' and forthcoming album release...Free collection from central London if buyer prefers to postage...Any questions please text 07970548830
