Fiddle $5,000.00This unique fiddle should be considered not only a musical instrument, but also a piece of Appalachian art. It was hand crafted in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia from local spruce and maple. The time, effort and craftsmanship can be seen in the inlay work, the extraordinary detail of the ram’s head and the striking glow of the light, clear stain that accentuates the beauty of the grain and pattern of the wood. Hard shell case and horse hair bow included. (Also, based on Appalachian legend, rattlesnake rattles are also included inside fiddle for good luck and improved quality of sound.) This in indeed a ‘one of a kind’.
