2014 Special Ordered with 30 degree batter side bearing edge and 45 degree resonant side bearing edge. This provides a warm vintage sound from the 30 degree side and a cutting attack from the reso side. In all tuning ranges from low, mid, high this drum sounds amazing. I personally ordered the bearing edges at 30/45 and custom ordered the die-cast hoops to give the drum focus and attack in all settings. This drum has only been played in selected studio sessions and at a handful of live gigs, hence the stick marks and slight wear of the original batter head.The solid mahogany shell provides a lower fundamental pitch and warmth that only mahogany with the 30 degree batter side bearing edge can produce. Vintage warm and punchy. You will not find a Custom Shop Craviotto with these specs at this price anywhere. This drum was ordered custom by me, I am the original owner. Shipped with original bag and key in original Craviotto box. The drum is in mint condition.
