Easily rivals or surpasses legendary Neumann mics at a fraction of the cost…a distinctive one of a kind classic.
Arguably CAD's best microphone, this E350 is the
original "oval badge" model; 100% made in the US.  It is in good cosmetic condition with some light scratches on the lower rear side of the body.  NO nicks, dings, or dents.  Very well cared for with modest usage in a smoke-free studio,

it has been carefully stored.  About the CAD Audio Equitek E-350 Large Diaphragm, Multi-Pattern Condenser MicrophoneThe Equitek E-350 was the improved version of the E-300 multipattern condenser. Both offered three polar patterns, a large-diaphragm capsule, -20dB pad, and CAD’s proprietary Op-Amp “Equitek” transformerless amplifier circuitry.Differences between the two microphones were: ▪ - The name plate. ▪ - The source of the capsule.Whereas the original E-300 used an imported large-diaphragm capsule, reportedly from China, the E-350 used a capsule manufactured within CAD’s factory in Conneaut, OH.This “Optema OS-110” capsule would be used within many of CAD’s microphones, including the VSM, the dual-tube VX2, and the first generation M177 and M179 (the manufacturing of which would later be outsourced to an offshore factory). It was a 33mm capsule with (in its multipattern configuration) two 28mm center-terminated diaphragms made of 3-micron “high-strength polymer film.”A rare and sought-after modern classic, The E-350 rivals some of the industry's most distinguished and renowned professional large condenser studio microphones. For voiceover, and any high-end application CAD's E-350 is a phenomenal microphone that captures the true essence of what you're recording with remarkable clarity, presence and distinction.
