A very fine old cello with a wonderful and lovely warm sound full of power made of beautiful wood.The cello is suitable for professional musician and professional cello playing.It is in original condition with some well repaired cracks and retouch work.No cracks in the soundpost area. The scroll is grafted.A very fine work with a good choice of beautiful wood and in all essential parts original.The back is made of a beautiful two-piece back with lovely flames and the ribs are of beautiful flamed maple as well.The top is made of spruce of nice and regular grain and the scroll is made of maple and is grafted.The cello is covered in a glorious reddish-brown varnish on a golden-yellow ground of the sort that one might expect to see on a great Venetian instrument.The cello shows some wear but is still in good condition. It has been well set-up and is ready to play with a new set of Strings.(Larson Soloist and Thomastik Spirocore).You can play and see this instrument in Berlin (Germany).
