Original Vintage 1960 Fender Musicmaster
Offered for sale is an Original Vintage 1960 Fender Musicmaster. Fingerboard width at the nut is 1 1/2 inches and scale length is 22 1/2 inches. The slab fingerboard has clay dot markers. The neck is straight and the truss rod works. As the photo shows, the neck has an October 1960 pencil date. There is minor fret wear and playability is very good.
The original Desert Sand finish shows checking that adds to the vintage vibe. As shown in the photos, there is some finish peeling in the treble side upper bout. The guitar gets excellent tone from the original black bottom pickup. The original pots have 1960 date stamps. The guitar will be shipped in the original guitar case which is solid. Add this 56 year old Fender guitar to your arsenal.
