The reverse 70s-style headstock on this guitar alters the relative length of the strings, which creates a unique playing feel while adding more snap to the treble strings. On the backside of the headstock you'll find Jimi Hendrix's signature, for that little extra bit of Hendrix authenticity.Speaking of authenticity, not only does this guitar look like an authentic Hendrix Strat, it sounds like one too thanks to the American Vintage '65 pickups that this guitar is equipped with. All three of these single-coil pickups have been reverse-mounted in the guitar, which reverses the pole piece stagger for a subtle change in the string-to-string volume balance for a truly authentic Hendrix-style tone. Along with each pickup being reverse-mounted, the bridge pickup's slant has been reversed as well, which generates a warmer sound with enhanced upper harmonics, giving a more defined sound in the low end and a thicker sound in the high end.The only question left to ask about this guitar – Are you experienced?
