For sale is a very nice Fender USA Mustang from 1973/74 in 3-ton Sunburst with Rosewood Neck. The Mustang we offered with the original case with.The Story
I bought this Mustang privately in 2000 by the first owner. Today I am glad that I already at that time respected the original condition, so is not tinkered and bled.Since that time she was tempered and dry until this Christmas for my brother's place. Now I have them back here and I have been able to look at them for the first time.As a rule, I do not like to disassemble my neck and do not screw the pickguard. I was assured at the time that everything, up to the last screw is original. With the old and I mean the guitars before 1980, however, one never knows whether one experiences a (negative) surprise.In advance, everything OK so 100% original. I was the first to pick the pickguard and neck.Since I am now retired, I would like to gradually separate from my guitars (excluding Fender).
The Mustang
The Mustang is of very good workmanship which is typical of Fender in the early 1970s.The neck has a pleasant C-Shaping with the usual "old" handlebrettradius of 7.5 "(see picture 21) All frets as well as the wood from the fretboard are in an above-average / mint condition (please look at the pictures).The neck can also be called as new. There is no quirks on the neck.All 6 tuners work perfectly. No one is worn out crooked or knocked out.The collar can be turned perfectly and the neck curvature can be adjusted perfectly.The Mustang is painted in a very good condition for the age. Only a few "traces", ie. Bumps or scratches are present. The pictures are not edited / cut but only cut. Absolutely look and ask if anything is unclear.The pickups are "black bobbins" and not dated (see, e.g., Figure 25). The potis are from CTS and from the 52'th week 1973. The soldering is in the original condition. I'm sure I'm the first pickguard and neck.As the Mustang sounds, you can listen to "Youtube" a thousand times. The Mustang is original until the last screw. The pickguard as well as the neck was screwed by me for the first time for the sifting. It is obviously very little played. Alone with me it was about 15 years tempered and dry in the suitcase.The suitcase is original and belonged to it from the beginning. It is located outside in a new condition. The leather is impeccable. The beautiful interior as well. All closures work. There are no keys with you.There are not many Fender guitars before 1980 which have this uninstalled state and therefore are also very interesting as an investment. So the motto is: Buy, the value increases and you can still play a wonderful instrument. What is more. I would keep it myself, but in old age I would like to give some and thus my pension. Always look the next years. I still have a lot to sell.
