Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1990's Yamaha model MBD1018 "Maple Custom" bass drum.This drum has a brass name plate bolted to the top of this shell that indicates this drum was manufactured in Japan, and that it has a serial number of # JHX-2139.The shell measures 14" deep x 18" wide, and is made up out of ten plies of maple. The interior is finished in a gorgeous, honey-colored natural maple.The exterior is factory finished in Yamaha "black maple" lacquer. As you can see from my pictures, the finish is dark and unfaded. The black maple is extremely glossy, and there are only a few minor scratches in the clear coat.This drum is factory equipped with sixteen Yamaha gold-plated low-mass lug casings, two matching black maple wooden hoops, two Yamaha folding bass drum spurs, sixteen Yamaha tension rods & hooks, and a single Yamaha bass drum receiver bracket. All of the hardware is in excellent condition, and the plating shines beautifully!Newer EVANS drum heads have been installed on this gorgeous drum and they sound great!PLEASE SEE MY OTHER EBAY AUCTIONS FOR THE MATCHING BLACK MAPLE DRUMS!!
