Description
Hello , today I am listing a 1932 Gibson L-4 Archtop acoustic guitar in project condition , let me start by saying for the most part this is an authentic piece , that has been oversprayed by gold paint in the 1950s , the original finish is underneath , the back of the neck , sides and back are believed to be finished in black , the carved spruce top is three tone sunburst , THE CARVED MAPLE BACK is lose and split in two , it fits together well , there is a crack in the side , there may be a hairline under the bridge , the neck joint is perfect and the neck is straight , the truss rod seems to be working but felt a little tight and I decided not to push it , THE TUNERS have been dug or routed out and will need attention , 85% of the binding is there for the back , tail section and bridge are original , some flat head screws , the top , sides , back , neck are all in form , this guitar is a worth restoration project including saving original finish underneath , as much as I would like to im gonna offer the 1932 V neck L-4 to the best offer and someone that will put a little heart and soul into a great Robert Johnson vintage pre war GIBSON , study the pics and make an offer thank you,, guitar parts taped on so buyers can see howmuch of this guitar is actual there , shipping all apart thank you.as is as found as described as seen no returns no refunds no partial refunds.
