Weighs only 7.69 lbs on my digital scale!Up for bidding is a Heavy Relic B Bender telecaster with a Matney USA Custom B Bender installed.The body is a multi-piece, "Barncaster" style body made from several strips of wood (I think pine). The wood grain can be seen thru the finish and adds to the rustic look and relic vibe of this classic looking Telecaster. The finish is blonde nitrocellulose lacquer with an extreme "Heavy Relic" treatment. The Hardware has been artificially aged as well. This guitar is not meant to be historically accurate... it's just meant to have a vintage look and feel. The B Bender was made and installed in USA by Matney USA Custom Bender Guitars in Rockwell, NC.The pickups are genuine USA Fender and provide plenty of that classic Tele Twang! It was wired by Matney's custom shop with top quality components. Full size CTS pots, Orange drop cap, vintage style blade switch, cloth wiring, and Switchcraft jack. The neck has a 9.5 radius and is new with absolutely zero feet wear. The Matney USA headstock logo is a vinyl transfer and can easily be removed if you wish to replace it with a more traditional "F" style logo.If you want a custom shop guitar, but don't want to spend mega bucks, then here's your chance to own a sweet B Bender Tele at a fraction of the price you would normally pay. A clear acrylic back plate is included, as are Schaller strap lock buttons (locks not included) and a vintage style bridge with threaded steel saddles.
