This Rimini is semi-hollow with P-90's. From what I can gather Italia has been in business since 1999. The current Rimini model has mini-humbuckers. I do not know the year of this guitar, as there are no markings or serial number that I can find. What I do know is that it sounds, plays, and feels fantastic. It is light-I would guess 6.5 lbs. It stays in tune like a rock. I like tree-trunk necks on guitars, and while this neck isn't Rickenbacker small, it's a "medium C." The back of the neck has been sanded a bit to make it non-sticky. It feels great to the touch, and the finish is still on there, but I wanted this to be known, and it was like that when I got it. The body wood is agathis. It had no case or bag, so I purchased this SKB bag for it to ride in to your gigs. MSRP on a new Rimini on their website is 1200, with 1000 being the street price. This guitar is a bargain!
