Original Vintage Fender Jazzmaster 1961in his Original Case with Tremolo ArmTo be perfectly clear so you won't lose your time, I will start right away with the bad news about this guitar: 1) The body has been varnished, most likely to protect the wood and color. As you can see on the pictures, it seems that it has been repainted at some places. However, I did not found any signs of sand paper work, and obviously, it has been repainted over the nitro. E-MAIL ME FOR MOPRE CLOSE UP PICTURES. 2) The original logo on the neck is totaly gone, and has been replaced with some stupid stickers that has nothing to do with the original Fender brand and font. 3) Some wires and a pot inside the guitar are not original. So, this guitar has been repaired in the past. I payed a competent technician from my local music store to make sure that everything is working and adjusted. Unfortunately, the Tone pot(the white one) has a broken leg, so it doesen't work. It will be up to you to have it repaired or replaced with a new one. Now, the good News! 1) The serial number is engraved on the Chrome plate that is connecting the body to the neck, and the inscription "6-61" is written by hand on the inside of the neck,(as you can see on the pictures) which confirm that this is an all original 1961 Jazzmaster. This has been confirmed by my local store, online professionals, professionals local musicians and even amateurs guitarists, which sometimes are even more competent than some music stores on that matter! 2) Electronics : The pick-ups, pots and switches are ALL ORIGINAL. Just the Volume Pot is non-original. 3) If you are a player, this is your chance to own a genuine Jazzmaster 61 for near half price. None of the cons about this guitar affect the sound whatsoever. 4) This guitar is working and playing flawlessly....except for the White Tone Pot which will have to be replaced or repaired.I think I mentionned everything I know about the state of this instrument.Please, feel free to contact me for any questions, offers.I will ship worldwide with fixed fees.
