King Ballad Mellophone/Band & Orchestral Horn, model #1153. American made by The H.N.White Co. Cleveland, Ohio. Ca 1930'. Serial #126050. Built in the Key of F for use in Orchestra & with the rotary valve to change to Eb for use in Band. Included are 3 extra C slides (marked) ideal for use to accompany piano/voice. Smaller bore than average equating to a French Horn sound. Beautiful Intonation. The instrument has a 11"d. Bell & weighs 3 lbs. 14.2 ozs. Encased valves (equipped with 3-way metal guides) are placed @ an angle to the Bell so they will be upright when held in the playing position. Pistons are in real nice condition and numbered the same with the serial number. Beautiful crisp Bell. Included with the Horn is a brand new MAX French Horn case and the two original H.N. White mouthpieces #8 & #30 in very nice condition. Newly Silver-Plated (GORGEOUS), Ultrasonic cleanse, new felts, springs and water seals. International Shipping $75.00 U.S. currency.
