International shipping is $175 insured for $4,999 (maximum amount allowed by USPS).Offered here is a pair of the rarest tube preamps one can find these days by Telefunken/TAB version V76S (mastering version).We have used them for past five years on our main passive summing mix bus as well as matched pres for stereo recordings. These units are within 0.3dB of each other and sound alike. It breaks my heart to put them up for grabs but we have some big investments to make, so here is your chance to own absolutely amazing tube preamp designs from the late 1960s (think Beatles, Deutsche Gramophone recordings).The winning bidder gets these two raw modules as pictured without the rack and without 220V transformer needed to power them up. We will add a pin out scheme to the winning bidder which differs from the standard V76 preamps pin-out and add two Tuchel connectors (both used but in great shape). These units are unmodified - all original and have never given us any problems in our five years of using them in our studio. All clients have been very pleased with our mixing results. We often went straight to tape from these, or back to Prism Media ADA8-XR D/A converters when tape was not required for mixing. Given the age and fragility of these instruments, a winning buyer has 10 days to review these modules fully after which point we no longer accept any returns. When we purchased them some five years ago from a German collector, he had them gone through completely to ensure up to specs performance. They've been working ever since without a glitch.
