This is a fantastic guitar. Extremely limited production. It's a Paul Stanley Starfire, which is obviously based on a Firebird, in a distressed/relic'd gold mist finish. It really looks and feels 50 years old. There is convincing wear and checking all over the guitar, with the exception of the back of the neck, which was left smooth, yet has a satin feel. The pickups are Seymours, and are high output compared to normal Firebird pickups, yet still are thinner than a full humbucker. Great vintage tone, but just a bit hotter. Medium neck shape, big frets, gorgeous inlays. Just a fantastic guitar. And it balances much better on a strap than a Firebird.It comes in the original case, which is also distressed. Also includes a signed COA, and an extra pick guard that is hand signed as well. Everything is like new. I hardly used it, and even then just at home.These sold for an outrageous amount when released, somewhere around $5,000. You can get this one for half of that (or make me an offer, I'm a reasonable guy).You almost never see these in this finish. I've seen some white ones out there (in fact I had one) but not gold.
