Up for sale a very nice "hybrid" Olds sousaphone. American made Olds valve casing section and German made body and bell. The original german valve casing was completely damaged and I built an american Olds valve casing into body. Horn looks great and playing well and in tune.-I did a complete overhaul on this horn. Took most of dents out, buffed it up, soldered back together and lacquered it with baked on lacquer.-Slides are freshly lubricated and working well,-B-flat,-Valve casing serial # 418561; Body serial # 2351-Nice, big 26" bell-Valves are tight and in good condition. Good valve compression,-Weight (bell + body) is about 26 pounds -Brass is in very good shape and condition. Safe and sound. Nice and heavy,-Valve casing is made in USA and body-bell made in Germany-Comes with new hard case on wheels (MTS product), new Conn bits, overhauled Olds neck; new mouthpiece,-1 year limited warrantyNO RETURN.
