Description
Brand: National Body Material: Steel
Exact Year: 1929

I am not an expert, but this guitar appears to be in excellent shape considering it's age. The serial number #S905 puts it at 1930. The binding on the neck is all there. The tuning keys are functioning perfectly. It sounds like there is a cathedral inside it. The National sticker on the head stock is half gone and there is a name lightly etched in the side of the head stock above the G-string tuning key. Semi-Hard case included ($200 retail). If you are serious about gigging, I advise a restoration from luthier that specializes in these instruments. If you collect, or just take it out once in a blue moon In the studio (like me) to play in low open tunings, I'd leave her as is. I tried to provide excellent pictures so you can get a good idea of its condition. Shipping to Continental United States Only.
Fully insured.
Option for local pick up if you are in greater Boston area. All Sales Final. NO RETURNS. Ask questions if you have them. No, I will not take this thing apart for pics of interior. I'm not savvy enough to do minor surgery on an 87 year old guitar.
