TL-Sync Synchronizer / Clock Generator The TL-Sync is a stand-alone, high-quality, multi-purpose Synchronizer and Clock Generator for use in a wide variety of configurations and situations. Providing multiple Sony 9-Pin ports, MMC, TL-Bus and TimeLine Lynx Bus, the TL-Sync can lock to a wide variety of digital clock and positional references while simultaneously generating multiple SMPTE/EBU time codes and digital clocks, MIDI time code, Super Clock (Digidesign), Word, AES clock and other high frequency clock signals. Overview Four 9-pin serial ports. One multi-purpose RS-422 / RS-232 port. MIDI. TL-Bus port links together up to 32 TL-Sync’s for large systems. Virtual Machine operation simplifies 9-pin and MMC control from DAW's and Consoles. Virtual Track mapping scheme makes individual machine tracks accessible to external control. Digital Clock and Frame Rate gearbox. Two independent, isochronous digital clock rate generators. Four simultaneously active digital clock or oversample outputs sourced from either generator. Two timecode generators, cross-frame synchronized. Independent LTC/MTC Reader. Biphase, ADR Beeps, and GPIs for Post Production. TimeLine Lynx Bus port for Lynx and KCU connections.
