Up for bids is a vintage Super Sensitive Ludwig snare 5" x 14" dual parallel throw offs.This drum is in showroom condition. It is solid maple with maple reinforcement rims very rare. I have seen this drum in birch but never in maple. It is very crisp with the warm sound of maple with no snare buzz whatsoever I have used this drum in professional situations and sound guys love it.When I got this drum 20 years ago the shell was scratched so I had it professionally re-finished. It is totally original with absolutely no issues except of course for the heads. Rims are round as can be seen in the pics. Both snare mechanisms work perfectly.
