This is a Bach Stradivarius Bass Trombone, Model 50BG. It is the same as the currently produced model 50B30, but has a rose gold brass bell. This instrument was purchased new around 2002 and used by a music student until 2006. The only significant damage to the instrument is an area on the bell that is dented. The inner and outer slide, valves, tuning slides and other tubing have no dents or damage beyond minimal finish wear from normal usage. The valves are a little sluggish and may need cleaned and re-lubricated. The exterior of the case has some damage to the leather wrapping, but the case interior is fine and overall the case is structurally sound and functions perfectly. Included are the original Bach 1-1/2 G mouthpiece and a Schilke 60 gold plated mouthpiece.
