Hello, and thank you for viewing my item today, please see my ebay feedback and buy with confidence.
Wow, this is a great survivor, 1965 Epiphone Coronet with the P-90 pickup. It looks to be original including tuning machines. This guitar plays well, great action, good neck, Volume/Tone work well, and best of all...that fantastic biting P-90 pickup sound, great for many styles of music, especially blues and she is very light at 6lb 1oz. This guitar comes alive, especially through a nice tube amp. Guitar has a lot of scratches, dents, gouges, finish surface checking.....lot's of pure Patina, and remember, she is a 1965 survivor.....if this guitar could talk, certainly some wonderful stories could be told.
It has a very light hairline crack, looks to be in finish only, on back of neck and does not affect the playability of guitar and this guitar stays in tune well. Serial number is 515659.
I can leave this baby in her case for weeks, pick it up, and she is still in tune. This is a player or a vintage collector, your choice. So easy to play, so light, stays in tune, and sounds fantastic! This guitar was previously owned by Richard Gere and was sold at Christies, in NY City, in Oct 2011 along with a huge guitar collection he owned.I am including the 138 page guitar auction book that was part of the viewing for the auction. You can see a picture of this guitar in the book.I am certain that Christies would verify this, if need be.
This sell is final, no returns, no refunds, but please see my ebay feedback and buy with confidence that guitar is as described.Prefer that guitar was picked up  in person but if shipped, there is a flat $100 shipping fee and will include insurance and will be well packed.
Please ask any questions before buying, and payment is due at end of auction.
Thank you very much!I added another photo that shows the electronics, original Bakelite access cover, original tone/volume pots, input jack and original capacitor! See the 65 makings on the pots, showing that it is original.
