Watkins Circuit 4This is an extremely rare and desirable electric guitar made in the sixties by Watkinsin England. These are very hard to find and if you can find one it may well be missing parts ornot working. This one is fully working and has been fully checked. It is a variation on the Rapier 44 also made by Watkins and with quite complicated system of electrics, but the Circuit 4 which was a top of the range model is even more complex. However, this guitar comes witha copy of how to make it all work and what everything does.It has four pickups all chromed, with three push buttons (one rhythm and two solo) plus rhythm andsolo volume controls plus two further pickup selector controls. In all, a massive collection of soundpossibilities and all working. The bridge is metal and much like the old Hofner bridges and the ''Hi Lo'' tremolo tailpiece is all complete. The maple neck is bolted on and the fingerboard has twenty-two frets all good, and the headstock hasthe six on a side tuners and ''Circuit 4'' logo. There is some lacquer checking on the neck and headstock which is common and no problem; the strappins are missing but could be reinstated if required and of course it is finished in purple - not theoriginal colour but extremely well done.It is really hard to find one of these, especially one in good working order and plays well!Any questions please contact me on 07544 887582
