There is some wear around the valve casings. The wear is simply handling from playing the instrument. The trumpet plays great! I performed on this trumpet through graduate school, where I graduated in 2011. I bought the instrument brand new in 2001.I will also include my vast library of method books and trumpet literature. $100's worth of trumpet methods/literature!
