Exceptional microphone for close micing of percussion instruments, or distance micing of choirs and orchestras. Its extremely flat frequency response (+/- 2dB 20Hz - 40kHz), high SPL ability (155dB), and stability over time and in various temperatures and humidities also make this the industry's acoustic measurement microphone of choice. Qualifies as an ANSI S1.4 Type 1 microphone for measurement of industrial and environmental noise, as well as IEC 61672 Class 1.This model microphone was taken over by DPA, it is the same as the DPA Type 4007. The microphones work perfectly and a are in grat condition. Theres is only some tape residue on them where the holders where used.From website:
