Its extremely flat frequency response (+/- 2dB 20Hz - 40kHz), high SPL ability (155dB), and stability over time and in various temperatures and humidities also make this the industry's acoustic measurement microphone of choice. Qualifies as an ANSI S1.4 Type 1 microphone for measurement of industrial and environmental noise, as well as IEC 61672 Class 1.This model microphone was taken over by DPA, it is the same as the DPA Type 4007.
