Up for auction is my 1979 Fender Stratocaster.  I've owned this guitar for about ten years.  I've moved on to playing jazz and alas, my old Strat isn't being played as much as it deserves.  It is in very good condition, but does show wear and love.  Please see photographs.  Up front: the pickups, tuners, and tremolo are not original.  That's the way I bought it.  The pickups are Fender Texas Special pickups and sound incredible.  Everything else in the circuitry is original, including pots and caps.  The tuners are updated but true to original.  The tremolo is a Gotoh I believe.  Blonde body.  Neck is straight and frets were professionally redone and polished.  Somewhere along the way, a David Gilmore phase switch was installed.  Please see the pictures for a honest reveal of the condition of this guitar.  Body is swamp ask and has that late 70's Fender heft.  Has great sustain for a Strat.  If you use Buy it Now, I'll include the guitar strap shown in the photos.  I'll probably regret selling this guitar, but I have my intent to save up for a ES-175 and to do so,I need to thin the herd.  I've set a reasonable reserve and what I believe is a fair Buy it Now price.  I will only ship to a PayPal verified address and will only ship internally using Ebay's Global Shipping Program.  I expect payment within three days of auction close and will ship within three days of payment receipt.  If you have low feedback (>5) contact before bidding, otherwise I will delete your bid.  I've had several examples now where someone with 1 or 2 feedback run the bids up, wins, and then either tries to bargain post-auction or refuses to pay.  Winning the auction doesn't give you the opportunity to negotiate.  If you're a fair Ebayer, you'll fully understand and agree.  Okay, thank you for looking and I wish you best of luck.  You won't regret winning this guitar!
