While all of Jennings Guitars instruments are hand-made, and many are custom-ordered, the available options are largely cosmetic or electronic. This one is different.  Really different.  When we designed this guitar, the luthiers incorporated significant structural modifications, which make a dramatic difference in how this guitar plays, feels, and sounds.
1. Countoured "roundovers" instead of straight edges and binding around the body. I designed it this way for maximum comfort while playing.2. Internal chambering. Unlike most semi hollows which have a solid block dividing the two halves, I had Jennings increase the size of the internal chamber by creating a unique ported center block to connect the two chambers. This helps maximize resonance in the relatively compact body while still eliminating feedback common to fully hollow guitars. It also helps reduce weight, which is a nice bonus, especially if you gig.3. String-through body for increased sustain.4. Contoured heel helps improve access to upper frets.5. Neck radius: 9.5" vs. 12" on Jennings' standards. I tend to play Fenders and was more comfortable with the 9.5" radius. All the hardware and electronics are high-end on this guitar. Sperzel locking tuners, Mastery bridge, Alpha pots, Mojotone cap., and Switchcraft toggle switch. McNelly Stagger Swagger P-90ish pickups complete the package.  Body- Stained alder body and top with nitro finish; special roundovers for maximum comfort while playing (think Stratocaster)
Standard hip cut with matching inner contour for maximum comfort and chamber volume.  I put a few small few nicks in the finish, so you won't have to. You're welcome. ;-) By the way, here's a free pro tip: Don't wear a Fitbit on your strumming hand, and straps with plastic buckles are a better bet than heavy metal ones.  Lessons learned. I paid ~$2,500 just a few months ago in October 2016. My loss is your gain.
