- solid quality sprucetop with multiple celluloide edge and binding, with a nice ebony pickguard with inlayed floral decors
- solid maple body with arched back made of 7 solid maple segments, body depht 12cm, wide on bout 33,7cm
- straight mahogany neck with slodded headstock, quality fingerboard with pearl dots, 17 frets + zerofret, original bone nut, width at nut: 41mm
- brass tuners with small bone knobs (some knobs have been replaced earlier=
- layed-on bridge with red celluloide saddle
- original Perlgold sticker insideThe Waldzither is in age related good original condition and fully playable with very good string action (2,2mm at the 12th fret)There is a well sealed/glued hairline crack in the top. Partially solved glue at the back beetween two segments has been reglued, tooAll the (well done) repairs have NO effect on playability or the good tone of this fine instrument.The original shellac varnish is showing some moderate and authentic signs of time and playing The fingerboard is showing No signs of wear. The frets were rounded, the fingerboard was cleaned and oiled
