This is a great guitar and a killer Gibson SG Standard '61 Re-Issue in stunning Cherry Red Finish. Has a nice wide nut and it plays like a real 1961 SG! Original Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers are super warm and full of tone.In 1961, the traditional Les Paul Standard received a makeover that included a thinner body with sharply pointed horns and eventually a name -- the SG. Today's reissue features the small pick guard and nickel-plated hardware of the original '61. Wielding a pair of powerful '57 Classic humbuckers, the Gibson '61 Reissue SG churns with sizzling tone that has made this a rock classic for generations.I've attached a number of photos for viewing...this guitar has never been out of my house and is like new with the blemish is some scuff marks on the pick guard from playing and a small nick on one of the horns. I tried a number of times to take a photo of it but it's so small that all I got was camera glare.I'm only selling it because I need the cash and have way too many guitars!!
Comes with an original hard shell Gibson case which is also like new.
