The neck has never ben detached from the body. Practically no fretweare, norusty parts, no nicks and dents, just a very slight patina in the see through blond finish. It comes with the original Hardshell Case which is in absolute mint/new condition as well. Ashtray Bridge Coveris included.Verification of accurate description.Story:I'm from Europe, but I life for over 20 years in south Florida. During my stay in Switzerland over the Holidays I visited one of my best Childhood friends. We founded our first School Bandin 1963. Now, while we were playing some acoustic staff for fun, I remembered that he once had a nice Telecaster. Turns out he still has it and is willing to sell it. We went on the balcony and I shot a view pictures during a nice sunset. Hence the slight red'ish tint in the pictures. I remember clearly (early seventies) when he bought the guitar from the dealership. Therefore, we don't have to take the guitar apart to verify the manufacturing year. The SN on the neck plate dates the guitar 1972. He is not on e-bay and didn't have any idea as of how to sell the guitar, nor was he really aware of the fact, that the guitar has become a collators item. How is this gonna work. I bring a 15 year history, selling on e-bay without a single negative feedback to the table. Please be assured, I make sure, this will be a positive experiencefor the buyer. The guitar will ship from Switzerland. Professionally packed and insured. Priority mail. For buyers in Europe or even Switzerland, the guitar can be personallypicked up as well. Depending on Location, shipping costs will vary and will range between $ 180.00 and $ 250.00. Minor issue:During a brief check of the electronic the following issue came to light:The neck PickUp was sounding weak/thin. I carefully unscrewed the Control Plate. All components were untouched and no failure could be detected. I then removed the pick guard to check on the wires going to the pickup. Just by wiggling on the cables the pickup started to sound properly.  When I left, both Pickups were sounding perfect. We will not touch the guitar.  The real collector of you might want it to be a 100% untouched in original condition while the players of you might want to re-solder that one wire going to the pickup, to make sure it is not interrupting again. We leave it up to the buyer.  This is an amazing piece of History. Especially in this excellent original condition. Thanks.
