For sale is this vintage 1954 Fender 5D3 Deluxe tweed guitar amplifier. This wide panel example, serial number 2678 with a tube chart date code of DG, was recently serviced and is currently in perfect working order. It sounds incredible, and it certainly rivals it's 4-input successor with regard to saturated overdriven tone. The original leather handle ripped off, and only the ends of it remain. The original back panels have been re-tweeded. Caps and tubes have been replaced, but all transformers and the Jensen speaker are original. While it's printed "5C3" on the tube chart, this amp has 12AX7s, which would mean it's a 5D3 version.
