For sale: My 2013 Fender American Vintage Reissue (AVRI) '52 Telecaster in classic butterscotch blonde. This guitar was purchased for £1300+ a couple of years ago for my own enjoyment and also for use to show off our handmade pickups. The guitar has been upgraded and features our '52 Telecaster pickups set which retails at £145 (I do not have the original pickups). The guitar sounds stunning and has been professionally setup by us with 10s. The saddles have been upgraded to Gotoh compensated brass saddles giving the same visual appearance but with improved intonation. The guitar has not been 'babied' - it has been used at shows and also used to make demo videos and some light gig use. Therefore on the body there are some small marks from use and some dings - they are all shown in the photos. The nitrocellulose actually flakes off easily when dinged. There are no real signs of wear to the neck - pretty much perfect in fact. It's for sale as I decided I must own a butterscotch Tele in my lifetime but I kind of wish I'd got the 58 in white. Fickle creatures as us guitarists are, it's never really had a look in with me and is mostly just under the bed now as I don't like the colour. I know that's silly, but someone else will I'm sure be more appreciative of it so it's time to let it go! The guitar comes with the original Tweed G & G case and case candy and also the Ashtray bridge cover. A lovely example of this instrument which has since been subject to significant price hike brand new, it plays wonderfully and will give its next owner years of joy I'm sure.
